Patrimoin'Art Lambton  St-Vital Church

Patrimoin'Art Lambton wants you to discover the amazing heritage of its ancestors as well as their creativity. We will be able to arouse your interest in our beautiful part of the country.

We also invite you to come and admire our architectural jewel that is the St-Vital de Lambton Church (classified building of Quebec): Place of knowledge, of memory, of contemplation that you will have to visit during your visit to Lambton. The church ranks first in the MRC du Granit and second in the Eastern Townships region.

This temple built between the years 1905 and 1907, immediately after a fire in 1905 destroyed the first church, stands proudly in the heart of the village, alongside the prestigious presbytery of French-style architecture. Both are part of the heritage site and represent the pride and courage of our ancestors. To learn more about its architecture and its components, 17 historical frames are installed and encourage self-tours between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., every day from St-Jean-Baptiste to Labor Day. Free entry.

To enhance your visit to us, a historical circuit has been set up in the village heart which will make you discover some important events that have marked the history of our municipality. To this end, a guide sheet is available at the tourist information office.

Welcome visitors!
