FINA / CNSG Marathon Swim World Series 2019 (Traversée Internationale)
FINA / CNSG Marathon Swim World Series 2019 is a 10-km Marathon Swimming World Cup as well as a festival with well-know artists on stage, musical fireworks, amusement park, family entertainment, and other surprises.
The event takes place at OTJ de Lac-Mégantic, 3293, rue Victoria, Lac-Mégantic.

1 KM, 2 KM AND 5 KM
The 1 km, 2 km and 5 km events are for swimmers 11 years old and up from all levels who wants to take part in the competitions. A loop specifically designed close to the Parc des vétérans gives them the opportunity of swimming in open water in a highly secure environment.
Distance : 1 km, 2 km and 5 km
There is a classification by age group men and women. Medals are given to the three first positions in each category.
THE CANADIAN ESPOIR CUP CARROSSIER PROCOLOR
The third stage of the Canadian Espoir Cup, presented as a part of the Traversée, is for swimmers aged between 14 to 26 that want to be part of the circuit. A second loop is designed by the Parc des vétérans in order to allow visitors to experience the race from the beginning until the end.
Distance : 7 km
Men and women classifcations are taking place and medals are awarded to the first three positions of each category. Points are collected for the final classification of the Canadian Procolor Espoir Cup.
FINA/ CNSG 10 KM SWIMMING MARATHON WORLD CUP
Since 2007, the Traversée has the 10KM open water event for men and women. This competition is a step of the 10 KM World Cup Swimming Marathon in open water FINA/HOSA. Participants leave from Piopolis municipal Campground and arrive at the Parc des Vétérans in Lac-Mégantic, about two hours later.
