 Great popular holiday dedicated to the arts and to the culture. Come to meet 120 artists and craftworkers of the MRC of the Granite and moreover.
To the program, exhibitions booth (painters, glassworkers, cabinetmakers, potter, jeweler and photographers), creations of collective works in front of public, demonstrations of knowledge - of former days fair, musical performances under a formula Cabaret-Bistro, produced by the soil and a series of activity of animation for the children.

The first one Ceilidh of Lac-Mégantic under the honorable presidency of Madam Isabell MacArthur Beattie. Madam MacArthur Beattie is the great-niece of Donald Morrison... a great méganitcoise legend!
10:00 am: ceremony «Tribute and recognition to the first Scottish pioneers of Milan». (Cemetery Gisla: rank Gisla in Milan). 1:00 pm: official Opening in the bagpipe sound, Scotland photos exhibition, clowns, make-up women, balloons and Scottish games for kids. 1:30 pm: tasting of Celtic beers and Scottish whiskeys. 2:00 pm: Scottish Music with bagpipe. 3:00 pm: conference on the history of the Scottish in Eastern Townships and in the MRC of Granite, by the considered historian Jean-Pierre Kesteman. 4:00 pm: public reading of the history and the Duel between Lucius "Jack" Warren and Donald Morrison, the outlaw of Mégantic. 4:30 pm: Scottish Music with bagpipe. 5:00 pm: tasting of scones (typically Scottish dish) with Ceilidh Society of Scotstown. 5:30 pm Scottish Supper under the big top. 7:00 pm: tasting of traditional "Haggis". 7:30 pm: tasting of Celtic beers and Scottish whiskeys. 8:30 pm: entertainment and dance with Salty Dog (Scottish folklore).

 Many concerts offered to reasonable prices and offering a programming for all the tastes along the year. Depending the entertainment offered the place varies between the Church St-Zénon of Piopolis and the Park of the Moon Crescent (on Grenier's road). Inquire schedules and rates.

About twenty artists and craftsmen around the lake Mégantic open you their door to discover them through their art: paintings, potteries, glasses, wooden objects, objects of papers, flowers, hammocks, furniture and antiquities.
Follow the signs (red narrows) on the route around the lake Mégantic. A ride of 53 Km. 
Arts Visuels Mégantic inc. invites you to their 7th expo-symposium under the honorable presidency of madam Lisette Marceau Vachon. The works Varnishing will take place on August 5, 2005 at 7h00 p.m. at the Polyvalente Montignac. Come to see more than 15 artists and arts amateur.
