Visit of the ASTROLab: situated on the base of the mountain Mégantic, the ASTROLab is a centre of activities in astronomy including a multimedia room high definition, 3 exhibitions and a observatory. The day visit proposes you a journey in the biggest enigma of all the times: what the Universe? This journey comes true in 3 parts: guided tour or free tour of the exhibition Of the bare eye in the visible spectre, watching a film high definition Cosmic Rhythms, guided tour or free tour the exhibition History and birth of the cosmos.
 
Visit of the Mont-Mégantic Observatory: discover the most successful telescope in Canada and get acquainted with its functioning as well as with the work and the researches by astronomers.
 
Guided tourted tour of the popular Observatory of Mont-Mégantic: manipulate the telescope and attend has the multimedia presentation The colours of the astronomy, a fascinating investigation of the world of the invisible light.

Wildlife Pavilion's complementary activity will entitle you to observe realty closed wild animals (17) outdoor up close. Interpretation boards along outside paths. Self-tour. Discover the milk of ewe to the Domaine des Travers du Roy, interpretation farm of milk of ewe situated in a charming village, Stratford.
 
Activities: presentation of the ovine dairy production and the guided tours of the farm.
 
Products of the shop: farmers cheeses and yogourt of milk of ewe, lamb (sausages, merguez sausages, spits, legs of lamb, chops, etc.), hand-made milk of ewe soap, wool, presents and souvenirs.

The Parc offers guided tour of the observatories, unforgettable evenings of observation throught the telescope and visits of the ASRTOLab, astronomical interpretation center (exhibitions and multimedia show). Whatever your interest-hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, activities with nature or astronomy specialists, or an evening of stargazing Parc national du Mont-Mégantic has plenty to discover. Evening astronomy observation upon reservations. Unfortunately, every Monday, you can not see stars on the big telescop.
 
Theme 2005: Saturn: in the heart of the spatial exploration
Evening of astronomy in the ASTROLab: begin in the multimedia room with the following special presentations: the cosmic elevator: to begin, a journey of the Earth until the borders of the observable Universe! Odyssey towards Saturn: a special presentation on huge screen putting in star the history and the astonishing images of this probe reached destination in 2004. Saturn and Titan as you have never seen them! After the passage of Voyager probes I and II, at the beginning of 1980s, of numerous questions were raised about the planet in rings and about its strange moon Titan. It is in this period when was born the idea to send a probe which would not make that pass near the system of Saturn, but which would send into orbit around him to study it during several years. Fifteen years later, in 1997, was launched the double Cassini-Huygens probe, the most complex interplanetary project never you tested.  Introduction in looks for stars and for The sky this evening.
