Firts Lights:  Infancy of the Universe Our great summer astronomy festival:  access to the Mont-Mégantic Observatory (including night observation), public lectures, workshops for all ages, observation through telescopes of dozens of amateur astronomers and special presentations of the origin of the Universe Festival of Popular astronomy of Mont-Mégantic. Special celebrations surrounding this big holiday of the astronomy in Quebec. Troughout history, mankind has found countless ways to co-exist with nature.  Today, the growing impact of human activity on our planetary environment forces us to ask some serious questions about our relationship with the natural world.  And there are no easy solutions!  On both global and local levels, we need clear and reliable data on which to base decisions and actions.  We need indicators. Presented in the multimedia room, Habiter la nature (living with nature( takes place in two parts.  First, a presentation on the giant screen offers a brief history of our relationship with the environment as well as the global indicators that help us determine the state of our planet.  Next, a guide will present the environment indicators used by the Park for its Ecological Integrety Monitoring Program.
